Canvas Perry Joyner January 29, 1928 July 3, 2017 Sims..................Canvas Perry Joyner, age 89, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy M. Joyner. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. She is survived by daughters, Bonnie Hicks of Sims, Shirley Joyner of Lucama, Sue Wrenn of Lillington, Ruth Hoezel (John) of Washington State; sons, Stanley Joyner (Brenda) of Sims, George Joyner (Susan) of Middlesex, Tim Joyner (Linda) of Lucama; sister, Margaret Brantley of Bailey; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. at Shingleton Funeral Home and other times at the home.
