Donald Ross Whitley August 2, 1961 June 27, 2018 Saratoga........Donald Ross Whitley, age 56, passed away June 27, 2018. He was preceded in death by his dad, Dan Whitley; brothers, James Earl Gooding and Jimmy Lee Whitley. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home Friday, June 29, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. with Brother Benjamin Poythress officiating. Committal services will be conducted in the Walstonburg Town Cemetery Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. He is survived by mother, Shelby Jean Harrell of Wilson; son, Donald Earl Whitley of Fremont; sisters, Ginger Hill of Stantonsburg, Sybil Webb of Macclesfield, Wilma Tew of Wilson; brothers, Archie Whitley of Saratoga and Dan Whitley of Snow Hill.
