Velma Hill Bunn November 28, 1930 February 3, 2017 Wilson..........Velma Hill Bunn, age 86, passed away Friday, February 3, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Mary Ella Hill; husband, B.J. Bunn; sisters, Myrtie Deans, Rachel Hill and granddaughter, Rhonda Lucas Harrington. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Marsh Swamp Original FWB Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Wells officiating. She is survived by her daughters, Susan B. Lucas (Phil) of Bailey, Sandra B. Lucas (Mike) of Nashville, Sherry L. Bunn of Middlesex, Betty B. Davis (Ricky) of Sims; sister, Margie Hill of Kenly; grandchildren, Jim Harrington, Bert Boswell (Kristen), Blair Lucas, Jeff Elliott (Christy), Zack Elliott, Michael Thorne, Matt Davis, great-grandchildren, Hailey and Hannah Harrington, Brayden and Brooke Boswell, Colin and Amelia Elliott and Lilly Thorne, special nieces and nephews, Frannie, Linda, Janet, Mary, Rick, Bobby and special family friend, "Urkel" (Chris Fox). The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home.
