Berry Junior Howell Dec. 4, 1921 ï¿Â½ April 11, 2015 WilsonBerry Junior Howell, 93, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Hemphill officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park with full military honors. Mr. Howell was preceded in death by his first wife, Hattie Turner Howell, second wife, Betty Mae Renfrow Howell, three sisters: Hettie Page, Bessie Braswell, Katie Page and two brothers; Robert Howell and Jim Howell. He was a wounded veteran of World War II, awarded the Purple Heart, the European African Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon with one Bronze Battle Star. He was a devoted father who truly loved his family. Mr. Howell leaves to cherish his memory two sons; Donnie R. Howell and wife Sue of Wilson and Dwight ï¿Â½Tommyï¿Â½ Howell and wife Maria of Wilson; six grandchildren; Donna H. Seaford (Mark), Heather H. Hemphill (Brian), Brandon R. Howell (Anna), Michael Howell, Paul Howell and Ashly Cuddington (Scott), and eight great- grandchildren; Annah and Ellah Seaford; Caleb, Hunter and Paxton Hemphill; Landon Howell, Ashtan Howell and Mason Turlington. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 14, 2015, 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Shingleton Funeral Home.
