Billy Ray Manning May 04, 1934 April 21, 2015 Middlesex... Billy Ray Manning, age 80, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jodie and Mattie Ferrell Manning; daughter, Jo Ann; sisters, Repsie Cawthorne, Mavis Price; brothers, Charles Ferrell and Curtis Manning. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, at Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kate Lewis Manning of the home; daughter, Rene�½ Manning Murph of Ayden; sons, Carroll Ray Manning and wife, Cerese, of Roper, Micheal Wayne Manning and wife, Sandy, of Winterville; three grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews and his dog, Little Man.
