Bobby Earl Medlin

Bailey............Bobby Earl Medlin, age 81, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Bailey Town Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Walston officiating. Bobby was a veteran, having proudly served in the United States Army. He was retired from the trucking industry as a commercial truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Medlin; parents, C. T. and Iva Medlin; and brother, Jerry Medlin. He is survived by his daughter, Kim Timberlake and husband, Jamie, of Zebulon; step-son; Donald Walston and wife, Debra, of Wilson; grandchildren, Kyle and Starr Clarke and Bobby and Cindy Walston; brother, Jack Medlin and wife, Glenda, of Bailey; sister, Annaleen Brown of Bailey; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Shingleton Funeral Home. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
