Lucama...........Doris Marie Mason Pearson, age 85, passed away June 16, 2017. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 7:00PM with the Rev. Thomas Ward officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at her home. Interment will be on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in the Mason Family Cemetery on Saint Mary's Church Road at 11:00AM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Urie and Lossie Moore Mason; husband, Onnie Pearson; daughter, Sandy and grandson, Ray; six sisters, Hazel, Mavis, Estelle, Teenie, Bicky, Peg; brothers, Ray and Sam. She is survived by daughters, Lori Moore (Robert), Kathy Temple, Windy McCloud, all of Lucama; sons, Danny Pearson (Clara) of Lucama, Jerry Pearson of the home; grandchildren, Mellisa, Crystal, Jennifer, Amy, Tiffany; eight great-grandchildren.
