Sims...........Douglas Anthony Cone, age 58, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy Zander Cone and Eunie Mae Earp Cone. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 1:00PM with the Rev. Scott Ezzell officiating. He is survived by son, Douglas Cone, Jr; sisters, Deborah Barfield (Jimmy) of Bailey, Charlette Corbett (Frankie) of Pikeville, Kathy Barnes (Michael of Stantonsburg, Sandra Glover (Dwayne) of Wilson, Tammy Cone of Sims, Kandy Pitta (Jeff) of Pikeville; brother, Ronald Wilson of Sims; eighteen nieces and nephews. The family invites friends to Doug and Tammy's residence for a gathering following the service.
