Floried West Williams Bissette August 29, 1919 May 30, 2015 StantonsburgFloried West Williams Bissette, 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home on Saturday, May 30, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Jackson West and Ruth Edmundson West; husbands, Joseph Benjamin Williams and Grover Elvin Bissette; and son, Collins Williams. Floried was a loving God fearing lady who loved her family and friends. She retired from the health services field. She ran Lindell Seafood and Grill for 30 years after her retirement. She loved working in the garden and at the grocery store where she prepared meals for the regular customers who patronized the business. She loved checking on family and friends until her health deteriorated and she was not able to do so anymore. She was a dedicated member of Mt. Lebanon Church. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Lebanon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. She is survived by her daughter, Edith Pearson (Gene), of Stantonsburg; grandchildren, Aubrey Pearson (Gail) of Wilson, Garry Pearson (Tammy) of Elm City, Kelly Pearson of Stantonsburg, Jackie Dunn (Claude) of Raleigh, Allen Williams (Karen) and Michael Williams (Tasha), both of Wilson, and five great-grandchildren. .
