Florrie Jackson Gardner Pitt December 09, 1915 November 23, 2014 WilsonFlorrie Jackson Gardner Pitt, age 98, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Joseph Albert Gardner and William C. Pitt and a son, James David Gardner. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Holden officiating. Committal services will be conducted in Maplewood Cemetery on Wednesday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Gardner Webb of Macclesfield; two step daughters, Mary Pitt Farmer and Dorothy Pitt, both of Tarboro; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren.
