Helene Scherer Colston August 12, 1924 April 6, 2017 Wilson..........Helene Scherer Colston, age 92, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Colston and a nephew, Joe Radford. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Paul Durham officiating. She is survived by her siblings, Emmie Myahafer, Elizabeth Shaver, Willie Scherer, all of Jugsheim, Germany, a special niece, Doris Radford of Fountain and a special friend, Roberta Wolf of Wilson. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home.
