She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Ruffin Hocutt and Swannie Hinton Hocutt; husband, Clarence Deans Sr.; sister, Eunice Hocutt; brother, Walter Gray Hocutt. Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Shingleton Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Maplewood Cemetery with the Rev. Duane Evans officiating. She is survived by her daughters, Marie Deans of Wilson and Beverly Langston of Pikeville; sons, Anthony Deans and girlfriend, JoJo of Wilson, Clarence Deans Jr. and wife, Connie of New Bern, Timmy Deans and wife, Carol of Wilson; sister, Pansy Evans of Kenly; brother, James Ruffin Hocutt and wife, Judy of Pine Level, 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren Online condolences may be directed to www.shingletonfh.com .
