Myrtle Harris Griffin July 9, 1937 December 2, 2015 Sharpsburg...........Myrtle Harris Griffin, age 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, December 2, 2015. She was preceded in death by her son, William Warren "Billy" Sessoms, Jr. and her husband, William Warren Sessoms, Sr. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Elm City. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon S. Taylor and husband, Edward "Kit", Deborah S. Watson, all of Sharpsburg; sister, Cleo H. Grange of Wilson; grandchildren, Bryan David Hahn II, Ann Mosley and husband, Brent, Candis Watson; great-grandchildren, Jayden Baker, Adam Mosley; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home and other times at the home of Sharon and Kit Taylor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Caswell Center, 2415 West Vernon Ave., Kinston, NC 28504.
