Robenia Issette Whitley September 10, 1920 February 7, 2019 Wilson......... Robenia Issette Whitley, age 98, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertie Whitley; son, Randy Kay Whitley and two grandchildren, Timothy Eugene Boykin and Michael Rodney Boykin. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Blackman officiating. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Hollywood Cemetery in Middlesex. She is survived by daughters, Ruth Strickland (Jerry), Sue Lamm (Bill), Evelyn Davis (Dwight); son Carroll Whitley (Nancy), all of Middlesex; grandchildren, Tracy Strickland, Kelly Lancaster, Marsha Boykin, Brian Whitley, Emily Kirkman, Michael Davis, Nick Tew, Amanda Matthis; eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home.
