Susie Bardin Taylor March 6, 1930 February 5, 2020 Lucama...........Susie Taylor, age 89, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Dr. DeWayne Eakes officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph "Doodle" Taylor; parents, John and Monte Bardin; sisters, Sallie Barnes and Faye Worley; brothers, John Lee Bardin, James Bardin, Marvin Bardin, and Ray Bardin. She is survived by sons, Malcolm Taylor and wife, Donna of Apex, David Taylor and wife, Lynn of Lucama; sister, Pearl Sykes of Rocky Mount; grandson, Nicholas Taylor and wife, Angela of Mckinney, Texas.
