Wayne Walston September 19, 1955 January 2, 2018 Wilson..............Wayne Walston, age 62, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carroll Bradbury officiating. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Walston of the home; son, Travis Walston and wife, Michelle, of Farmville; sister, Judy Baker and husband, Shane, of Elm City; brothers, David Walston and wife, Diane, of Wilson, Bruce Walston of Stantonsburg; grandchildren, Cooper, Peyton and Sadie Walston; special friends Harry and Ann Norvell; many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home and other times at the home, 7102 Piney Grove Church Road, Stantonsburg.
