Wiley Thomas Ballance May 2, 1947 September 26, 2014 Wilson..Wiley Thomas Ballance, age 67, died Friday, September 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Thomas Ballance and Priscilla Davis Ballance. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Presnell and officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Tapscott, and her husband Graham; a granddaughter, Ella Tapscott, and his former wife, Sue Hicks Ballance. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to First United Methodist Church, 100 Green St., NE, Wilson, NC 27893.
