                         Lucama….Autry Bray, age 81, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He loved Nascar racing and salt water fishing but most of all he loved his grandchildren. He will be missed by all that knew him.

                         Autry was preceded in death by his parents, Pharoah and Learie Lamm Bray; sister, Emma Ellis; brothers, Junior Bray, Arnold Bray, Sr.

                         Autry is survived by his wife, Joyce Wells Bray of the home; daughters, Angela Bray (David Harrell) of Lucama, Audrey Bunting (Doug) of Lucama, Camilla Ortiz (Jorge) of Wilson; son, Wayne Bray of Wilson; brother, Kenneth Bray of Wilson; grandchildren, Bailie Pearson, Brayson Pearson, Cassidy Bray, Michael Evans, Tiffany Harris, TJ Godwin, Savanah Godwin; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Layla, Ben Evans; dogs, Biskit and Shiloh.

                         A celebration of life will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Shingleton Funeral Home 2413 Nash Street NW, Wilson, NC 27896 with Pastor Stanley Gaskins officiating.
