Betty Lorraine Dixon

December 05, 1960 – October 20, 2024

          Ms. Betty Dixon, a radiant soul born in 1960, left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her.  Her love for her family was unparalleled – her sons, sisters, and cherished dogs held a special place in her heart.  With a gentle spirit and compassionate nature, Ms. Dixon touched countless lives.

          Her legacy is woven from threads of kindness, warmth, and devotion.  Those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her will forever cherish memories of her infectious smile and unwavering support.

          Though her physical presence may be gone, Ms. Dixon’s love and light continue to illuminate the lives she touched.  May her sons, grandchildren, and loved ones find solace in the beautiful memories they shared with her.

          Rest in peace, dear Ms. Betty Dixon.  Your love and legacy will never fade.

                    Betty was preceded in death by her parents, David Speight and Betty Mae Brooks Webb; her daughters, Amy Tomlson and Stephanaie Boswell; her sisters, Sharron, Emma Jean, and Barbara; and her brother, Johnny.

                    She is survived by her son, David Kessel of Princeton; her four grandchildren; and her brother-in-law, Jerry.

                    A visitation will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 from 5:00 until 6:00 pm at Shingleton Funeral Home with the memorial service immediately following with Pastor Stanley Gaskins officiating.
