Wilson...........Charlie Whitley, age 80, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Donnie Price officiating. He is survived by wife, Johnnie Kerns Whitley of the home; daughter, Kim Lamm (Mike) of Wilson; sons, Andy Whitley of Wilson, Eddie Whitley (Elaine) of Hickory, Teddie Whitley (Kristy) of Wake Forest; step-daughter, Dawn High (Mike) of Arlington, VA; sisters, Claire Davis, Mildred Brantley, Susan Lamm, all of Wilson; brother, Donald Whitley of Wilson; grandchildren, Alesha, Allen, Cole, Elizabeth, Jackson, James Carter; great-grandchildren, Ella, Collin, and Zane; and his beloved border collie, Shadow. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home and other times at the home of Kim and Mike Lamm.
