                         Lucama….Clara Lee Bass Pearson, age 79, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023.

                         She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Viola Rose Bass; husband, Danny Pearson; brothers, Bobby Bass, Nathan Bass, and Aaron Bass.

                         She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Christie Taylor (Joey) of Kenly; sister, Eloise Hinnant of Hampton, VA; brothers, Tom Bass (Sharon) of Hampton, VA, Percy Glenn Bass of Kenly; grandchildren, Christopher Mooring (Alyshia), Joel Taylor (Naomi), Ashlee Taylor, and Jonathan Gardner (Lindsey); seven great-grandchildren.

                         Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with the visitation immediately following the service.

                         Interment will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Park.
