Danny Keel November 27, 1936 May 26, 2014 Wilson..Danny Keel, age 77, died Monday, May 26, 2014. Graveside services will be conducted in Maplewood Cemetery on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Butch Gordon officiating. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Keel and a daughter, Anne Ellis. He is survived by his daughter, Lois Ann Bridgers & husband, Donnie, of Wilson; sons, Robert Keel and wife, Susan, of Saratoga, James Keel & Christy of Wilson; sister, Irene Gay of Walstonburg; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Neurosciences Intensive Care Fund through the Medical Foundation of North Carolina, 880 MLK Jr. Boulevard, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
