David Franklin “Frankie” Whichard

May 25, 1947 – March 29, 2024

                         Lucama….David “frankie” Whichard, age 76, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024.

                         He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Lula Mae Warren Whichard; daughter, Rhonda Diane Whichard; sister, Pattie Grace Mcguyrt.

                         He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Wilson (Patrick) and  Frankie Lynn Bell both of Lucama; son, David Patrick Whichard of Rocky Mount; brother, Charles Whichard (Joyce) of Greenville; grandchildren, Joshua Wilson (Kayla), Bradley Wilson (Marissa), Hannah Wilson, Ashley Orr (Caleb), Bryson Bell (Taryn); great-grandchildren, Chloe and Ella Wilson; two birds Sally and Star. Also left to cherish his memory, the love of his life Patricia Wadsworth.

                         Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 03, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Shingleton Funeral Home.

                         Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 04, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Hobgood Cemetery 202 West 5Th Street Hobgood, NC 27843 with Pastor Terry Hardison officiating
