Doris Gray Aycock Davis September 05, 1926 April 26, 2016 Wilson..............Doris Gray Aycock Davis, age 89, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Davis; daughter, Sondra and brother, John Aycock. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel with Grayson Gibson & Bryant Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Dean High and husband, Ray, of Swansboro; son, Jay Sasser and wife, Donna, of Emerald Isle; brother, Bill Aycock and wife, Jean, loving niece, Carolyn, all of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Charlotte Gibson, Stacy Sasser, Tina Glover, Allison Wright; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Grayson, Bryson, Bailey and Kayla. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home and other times at the home of Bryant and Charlotte Gibson.
