Dorothy Lou Pridgen Sessoms
August 4, 1949 – May 28, 2021
Canton, NC….Dorothy Sessoms, age 71, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021.
A Memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with James Stinnett officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Bruce Mercer Pridgen, and husband, Henry Sessoms.
She is survived by her daughters, Sara Sessoms (James) of Clyde, NC, and Lauren Kirk (Anthony) of Raleigh; sisters, Elaine Webb (Sidney) of Wilson, and Debbie Boswell (William) of Wilson; grandchildren, Bradley Kirk, Annie and Cyrus Stinnett.
