Douglas Arthur Jackson, age 79, of Elm City, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Park with Pastor Derek Bossolono officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Jackson; parents, Johnnie Wells (WWII) and Annie Mae Bailey Jackson.
He is survived by his son, Johnny Keith Jackson (Kimberly) of Winston Salem; daughter, Melissa Jackson Savell (Ashley) of Milton, Florida; step- son, Steve Page (Lila) of Elm City; four other step- children; grandchildren, Peighton Jackson, and Liam Page; six other step –grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren
