Elsie Temple King Moore

September 15, 1935 – October 29, 2021

                         Stantonsburg….Elsie Moore, age 86, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021.

                         Elsie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved gardening but her true passion was sewing.

                         A graveside service will be conducted Monday, November 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Park.

                         Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home.

                         She was preceded in death by her husbands, David Henry King and Howard E. Moore; brothers, Ira Temple, Walter Temple, and Melvin Temple.

                         She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Durant of Greensboro; son, David “Buddy Paul” King (Connie) of Stantonsburg; grandchildren, Daniel King and Lorie Causey (Timothy M.); four great-grandchildren.
