May 5, 1979 – January 26, 2024

                         Middlesex….Heidi Marie Blankshain, age 44, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024. She was a member of Elm City Missionary Baptist Church. She loved being involved with the activities of the church. One of her talents was crochet. She made hats for the residents of Elm City Assisted Living and Samaritans Purse Shoeboxes.

                          She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Blankshain and her brother, Richard Blankshain, Jr.

                         She is survived by her mother, Mary Jane Pierce of Rocky Mount; daughters, Denise LaPoint of Rocky Mount, Dorothy Blankshain of Middlesex, Dana Blankshain  of Middlesex, Destiny Baker of Middlesex; sons, Trevon Baker of Middlesex, Demetrius “DJ” Baker of Middlesex; sisters, Dee Dee Blankshain of New York, Helen Blankshain of Rocky Mount, Michelle Coley of Rocky Mount, Denise Baptista, Venice Richards of Florida; brothers, Jason Barkley of New York, David Baptista of New York, and Roy Blankshain of Florida.

                         A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, February 04, 2024 at 4:00 pm at Elm City Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Wells officiating.
