                         Raleigh….Horace Mitchel Nixon, age 72 passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022.

                         He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ethel Denton Nixon; grandson, Adam Nixon; sister, Iva Mae Jones and brother, Harry Lee Nixon.

                         He is survived by his wife, Connie Mitchell Nixon of the home; daughter, Robin Nixon Carver of Youngsville; son, Kelvin Mitchel Nixon (Marsha) of Lillington; six grandchildren and one great – grandchild.

                         A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Bailey Town Cemetery with the Rev. Don Mitchell, Rev. Tim Rabon, Sr. and Rev. Tim Rabon, Jr. officiating.

                         In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beacon Baptist Church, 2110 Trawick Road, Raleigh, NC 27604
