Janice Hopkins Lewis February 18, 1943 September 04, 2014 Bailey...Janice Hopkins Lewis, age 71, died Thursday, September 04, 2014. Janice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother who was a three time cancer survivor and a child of God. Janice was a woman of faith and a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. Graveside services will be conducted in Bailey Town Cemetery on Sunday, September 07, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Thompson officiating. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Marvin Vernon Lewis of the home; daughters, Beverly Jane Strickland and husband, Paul, of Bailey, Christina Langley and husband, Dennis, of Elm City, Mary Selvidge and friend, Cassie, of Creedmoor; brothers, William Hopkins of Battleboro, Johnny Hopkins of Hay Market, Va; grandchildren, Caleb Deese and Nathaniel Selvidge. The family will receive friends at Shingleton Funeral Home Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and other times at the home of Christina Langley.
