Shelby Jean Bunn Godwin
September 8, 1936 – September 26, 2021
Bailey….Shelby Jean Bunn Godwin, age 85, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Bailey Town Cemetery with the Dr. Ross Renfrow officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry O. Godwin; sisters, Margaret Carter and Wygonda Vann.
She is survived by her daughter, Renee Godwin Batts (John) of Bailey; brother, Wade Bunn Jr. (Jean) of Sims; nieces, Lisa Bunn of Sims, Rita Horton of Raleigh; special granddaughter, Amy Bunn Hine (Will); special great-grandson, Braxton.
The family would like to say a very special thank you to all the staff and caregivers at the Brian Center of Wilson for all the loving care they gave to Mrs. Godwin.
