                         Elm City…. Jerry Wayne Parker, age 69, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022.

                         A memorial service will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Williams officiating.

                         Jerry loved his family with all his heart and will be truly missed by all who knew him. He had a great passion for classic cars including working on them.

                         He is survived by his significant other, Deborah Hinton of Elm City; brother, Thomas Lee Parker of Lucama; nephew, Thomas Lee Parker, Jr. of Lucama; nieces, Virginia Floyd of Lucama, Betty Hayes (Timothy) of Lucama, Samitha Daniels (Justin) of Greenville; step - son, Gary Hinton of Rocky Mount; granddaughter, Casey Hinton and great- granddaughter, Eleanor Deal both of Wilmington; he is also survived by his four legged son, Peanut.
