Joan Cahoon Stott

                         Tarboro….Joan Cahoon Stott, age 83, passed away August 21, 2024 

                         Joan is preceded in death by her husband, James Stott.

                         She is survived by her sons, Thomas Woodard and wife, Tammy of California, Michael G. Woodard and wife, Kathy of Nevada; sisters, Alecia Guillette of Virginia, Nancy Wynne of Williamston, Teresa Cahoon of Williamston, Karen Casas and husband, Prudencio of Columbia, Dale Phelps of Columbia, Brenda Ambrose of Columbia; brothers, Cary Cahoon of Virginia, Chris Cahoon and wife, Kerry of Roper; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

                         A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Shingleton Funeral Home.

                          A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church 8672 New Sandy Hill Church Rd, Bailey, NC with Pastor David Barnes officiating.
