John "J.B." Perry June 21, 1931 February 11, 2016 Bailey............ John "J.B." Perry, age 84, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frazier Cone Perry; daughter, Connie Perry; mother, Effie Perry Eatmon and step-father, Homer Eatmon. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Barbee and Pastor Faye Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery. He is survived by his daughters, Gail Perry Hamm and husband, Donnie, of Bailey, Marie Perry Whisner of Bailey, Linda Perry Adkins and husband, Charles, of Wilmington; grandchildren, Valerie H. Kersey and husband, Tim, Jennifer Hamm, Derrick Bunn, Trey Adkins, Caroline Adkins, Carson Adkins; great-grandchildren, Amber Edwards, Daniel Kersey, Trenton Weeks, Makayla Weeks, Dillon Bunn and a special Aunt, Mavis P. Williams. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. and other times at the home of Gail Hamm. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Wilson Pines Nursing and Rehab Center for their care and love of our dad. A special thank you to his "300 Hall Girls".
