Johnny Ray Page, born on September 12, 1966 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, passed away on December 6, 2025 in Richlands, North Carolina, at the age of 59. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Johnny dedicated many years of his life working at the Ardagh Group making beer bottles, where he was known for his hard work and good nature. Outside of his professional life, Johnny was a devoted family man with a passion for life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid supporter of the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed cheering them on from the comfort of his home, all while spending time with the animals of whom he loved dearly.
Johnny also enjoyed travelling and creating memories with Robin, his loving wife of nine years. Together, they embarked on numerous adventures across California, New York, and Florida just to name a few states, building a treasure trove of shared experiences. His artistic spirit shone through in his love of drawing and painting, hobbies that resulted in many cherished keepsakes for Robin and their family.
Music played a significant role in Johnny's life, especially loud music the love for which he joyfully shared with his son Craig. He also had a fondness for scary movies, enjoying the thrill and excitement they brought.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nellie Page, siblings Brenda Sheedy and Lee Page, and nephew Charlie Page. He is survived by his devoted wife, Robin Page, and his sons, Craig Brown and wife Rebecca of Wilson, NC, and Johnny Brown and wife Susan of San Diego, CA. He leaves behind three grandchildren, Kailyn Brown, Skylar Brown, and Amelia Brown, who will carry forward his legacy. Johnny is also survived by his sister, Bonnie Barnes of Elm City, NC; nieces Samantha Sheedy and Rebecca Peak; great-nephews Silas Baker and Grayson Peak; and Robin's close friend, Valina Willaford.
A gathering of remembrance to celebrate Johnny’s life will be held at Shingleton Funeral Home on December 20, 2025 from 6 - 8 PM.
Johnny will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the love he generously shared with those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
