Joyce Lucille (Nichols) Smith

             Wilson….Joyce Lucille Nichols Smith, age 87, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026. She was born in Mississippi on May 08, 1939 to the late Guy James and Mildred Patton Nichols. Joyce attended Marietta Mississippi schools before moving to Chicago and getting a job with Zenith TV manufacturing. After the zenith job ended she relocated to Wynne Arkansas with her now deceased husband Hubert “Bud” Smith Sr. later in 1970 she divorced and married Alan Young and later divorced Alan Young and returned to the Joyce Smith name. She worked at Sanyo in Forrest City, Arkansas for over forty years before retiring. Joyce was a very proud grandmother to Brad Smith her only grandchild of Colorado Springs.

                         Joyce leaves to cherish her memory her son, Floyd Smith (Susan) of Wilson; sister, Barbara Sue Hutchins; brothers, Junior Nichols, Albert Nichols, and Mac Nichols; grandson, Brad Smith of Colorado Springs.

                         A celebration of Life  will be held at a Later Date.
