                      Elm City…….. Kelly Summer Lewis, age 40, passed away peacefully at her home after losing her battle with stage five kidney disease on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

                        She was a spirited fun loving person who was extremely intelligent and a committed and loyal friend to all. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

                        A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Shingleton Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 6:45 P.M. A graveside service will be held Monday, October 19, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Boone/Eason family cemetery in Elm City.

                        She was preceded in death by her father Marvin “Dickie” Lewis.

                        She is survived by her mother, Cheryl Fanton (Ray) of Wilson; brother, Brett Lewis (Beth) of Wake Forest; aunts, Peggy Pope of Nashville and Barbara Lewis of San Jose, California; uncles, Dale Glasco (Lee) of Miami, FL., Gary Glasco (Rose) of Vero Beach, FL,; special loving friend, Jerry Draper of Elm City; cousin, Chris Lewis of San Jose, California; nephews, Hunter Lewis (Georgie) of Stantonsburg, Skyler Lewis (Carla) of Groton, CT, Danny Lewis of Stantonsburg, Trent Trader of Ohio; step-sister, Ruth Schumacher (Paul) of New York, Randi Sue Shirley (Lane) of Idaho Falls, ID; step-nieces, Allison Berg(Dennis) of Idaho, Anna Shirley of Idaho; step-nephews, Gavin Schumacher of New York, Jake Shirley of Idaho.
