Kenneth Taylor Raper
February 01, 1947 – June 17, 2023
Lucama….Kenneth Taylor Raper, age 76, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, Uncle, and friend. He will be missed by all that knew him, including his Shingleton Funeral Home friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will Taylor and Mildred Pearson Raper; sister, Peggy Tomlinson; brother, William “Pud” Raper.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Raper (Dickie) of Lucama; sons, Dennis Raper (Elaine) of Wilson, John T. Raper (Belinda) of Wilson, Kenny Raper (Kelli) of Rocky Mount; brother, Donnie Raper (Joyce) of Lucama; nephew, Jason Tomlinson (Angela); nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; significant other, Phyllis Moye.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Shingleton Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Raper Family Cemetery on Saint Mary`s Church Road with the Chaplain Jeff Williams officiating.
