                       Wilson….Lanie Yvonne Tedder Bass, age 84, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

                         She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Victoria L. Tedder; husband, N.J. Bass, Jr.; sisters, Ethel Shepard, Geneva Godwin, Rachel Duke, Geraldine Scott, Verdie Dunn, Vara Matthis, Mildred Murphy; brother, L.C. Tedder, III.

                         She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Bass Register (Gene) of Wilson; sons, Bobby Bass (Betty) of Wilson, Russ Bass (Sherry) of Wilson, David  Bass (Barbara) of Rocky Mount; sisters, Mary Jean Scott of Wilson, Sally Hill of Wilson; brothers, Marion Tedder (Faye) of Wendell, Carlton Tedder (Romona) of Stantonsburg; sister-in-law, Joan Tedder; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

                         Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with the Rev. Woody Parrish officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the service. Interment will be Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery.
