Laudis Turner

                         Wilson….Laudis “Tinkie” Turner, age 87, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born in Wilson County to the late Boson and Bicy May Nichols Turner on October 28, 1937. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Dunn Turner; sister, Elsie Mae Peacock; brothers, Richard and Charles Turner. Laudis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.

                         Laudis is survived by his daughters, Kim Crocker and husband, Lamar of Kenly, Crystal Turner and fiancé, Bobby Howard of Wilson; sister, Brenda Barbee of Lucama; brothers, Milton Turner of Lucama, Billy Earl Turner (Margie) of Elm City; grandchildren, Corey Crocker of Kenly, Brandon Crocker of Wilson; great-grandchildren, Isla and Westin; and several nieces and nephews.

                         Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 7:00 pm at Shingleton Funeral Home with Pastors, Randy Holland and Matt Spence officiating with the visitation immediately following the service. And other times at the home of Laudis Turner.

                         A graveside service will be held Wednesday October 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at Buckhorn Cemetery.
