Obituary
Bailey….Laura Gray Denton Stott, age 91, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Stott; granddaughters, Sarah Curtis and Tiffany Stott; two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Jean Denton of the home, Debbie Curtis (Ricky) of Bailey, Lori Poythress (Mark) of Bailey; sons, Steve Stott (Anne) of Bailey, Willard Stott (Denise) of Boones Mill, VA; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; many cherished nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Shingleton Funeral Home from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery.
