                         Tarboro….Layla Ann Watson, age 21 passed away on June 02, 2024.

                         Layla was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jimmy Lee Whitley; uncle, James Thomas (JT) Holland.

                         Layla is survived by her mother, Kellie Ann Whitley of Tarboro; father, Travis Earl Watson of Sharpsburg; maternal grandparents, Cissy Holland and Bob Holland of Tarboro; paternal grandparents, Rebecca Farmer and Linwood Watson of Sharpsburg; sisters, Makayla Davis (Nick) of Enfield, Charley Cummings of Pinetops, Daisey Cummings of Pinetops, Delilah Cummings of Pinetops; brother, Dameon Davis; aunts, Christie Whitley (Darren) of Tarboro, Haley Holland (Alex) of Tarboro, Lacee Watson of Sharpsburg; uncles, Tyler Walston (Sarah) of Washington, NC, Michael Farmer of Greenville, NC,  a great-grandma along with a host of great aunts and uncles.

                         Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm Saturday, June 08, 2024 in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2:00 pm.
