Lellon Boykin Obituary

Concord.Lellon Ray Boykin, age 73, formerly of Black Creek, passed away April 5, 2014 at CMC Northeast Hospital in Concord. Lellon Ray worked in the trucking industry until retirement. Visitation will be at Shingleton Funeral Home, Wilson, NC, Monday, April 7, 2014, 11:00 A.M. until 12 noon with a graveside service following at Black Creek Town Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Hagan officiating. Mr. Boykin was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt and Lucinda Parker Boykin; son, Anthony Ray Boykin; and two brothers, Gary Lee Boykin and Coailger Boykin. Mr. Boykin is survived by his loving wife, Ann Marie Mozingo Boykin of 53 years of the home; sister, Coailtine Murray of Wilson; and a brother, L.V. Boykin of Harrisburg, NC. He is also survived by a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jean and Earl Parrish of Black Creek and five nieces and twelve nephews. The family is being served by Shingleton Funeral Home.
