Linda Sue (Whitley) Lamm

                         Middlesex - Sue Lamm, age 80, passed away Saturday, September 06, 2025. She was born in Wilson to the Late Bertie Otha and Robenia Issette Whitley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Timothy Eugene Boykin and Michael Rodney Boykin; brother, Randy Whitley. Sue was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

                         Sue is survived by her husband, Elijah “Bill” Lamm of the home; daughters, Marsha Boykin of Middlesex, Renee Farmer of Emerald Isle; sisters, Evelyn Davis, Ruth Strickland; brother, Carroll Whitley; grandchildren, Bridgette Boykin, Lauren Denton, and Christina Boykin, and several nieces and nephews.

                         A visitation will be held Monday, September 08, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Shingleton Funeral Home.

                         Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 09, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Blackman officiating. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery in Middlesex, NC.
