Smithfield….Lula Jean Brantley Williams, age 82, passed away Monday, September 04, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold R. and Mary Magdalene Creech Brantley; brother, Arnold Ruffin Brantley, Jr.; granddaughter, Layla Overby.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Jean Bessey of Black Creek, Bonnie Sue Cox of Selma, Jackie LaMay Dunn and husband, Claud of Smithfield; sons, Allen Collins Williams and wife, Karen of Wilson, Michael Joseph Williams and wife, Tasha of Wilson; brother, Jacob “Jakie” Eddie Brantley and wife, Sandra of Wilson; grandchildren, Steven James Bailey, Crystal Dawn Hendricks, Gregory Scott Weller, Douglas Lee Weller, Helen Elizabeth Tronti, Joseph Allen Williams, Skyler Williams, Brandon Gibbs Dunn, Nathan Lee Dunn, McKalyn Erin Williams; seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Friday, September 08, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Evergreen Memorial Park.
