Margaret Davis Barnes

Stantonsburg….Margaret Davis Barnes, age 95, passed away, Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Barnes; daughter, Brenda Kay Reason; son, Thomas Ray Barnes; grandchildren, Brenda Davis, Jason Barnes, three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Faye James of Stantonsburg; son, Michael Eugene Barnes (Kathy) of Stantonsburg; sister, Shirley Goff of Stantonsburg; brother, Billy Davis (Betty) of Stantonsburg; eight grandchildren and thirteen great – grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Goff officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the service and other times at the home of Mike Barnes 302 Wooten Ave. Stantonsburg, NC.
A Graveside service will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Stantonsburg Town Cemetery.
