Margaret Vick Bass August 01, 1933 May 08, 2014 Wilson...Margaret Vick Bass, age 80, died Thursday, May 08, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. with Associate Pastor Doug Radford officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private committal service will be conducted in Evergreen Memorial Park on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Durwood B. and Lillian C. Felton Vick; sisters, Maybelle Joyner, Maggie Joyner, Josephine Issette, Dorothy Ferrell; brothers, Bobby Lee Vick, Cecil Vick, Willie ï¿Â½Billï¿Â½ Felton, Alton ï¿Â½Gaitlinï¿Â½ Vick, Joseph ï¿Â½Doodleï¿Â½ Felton and Selby Vick. She is survived by her husband, Derl G. Bass, Sr. of the home; her daughters, Donna Barnes (Joseph) of Elm City, Rhonda Carroll (Patrick) of Jacksonville, NC, Margaret Pierce of Elm City; son, Derl G. Bass, Jr. of the home; sisters, Ethel Creekmore of Greenville, Joyce Winstead of Wilson; brothers, Durwood Vick, Jr. of Wilson, Ronald ï¿Â½Ronnieï¿Â½ Vick of Lucama; grandchildren, Melissa Sharpe (Chris), Travis Barnes, Jeremy Barnes, Jennifer Gilbert (Ray), Crystal Danbury (Lee), Christopher Sutton, Adam Pierce; great-grandchildren, Delaney, Victoria, Ashlee, Anna, Victoria, Juliaunna, Dillion, Elizabeth, Jack and a special family friend, Ray Neighbarger.
