Margaret Coley Glover

 Fremont….Margaret Coley Glover, age 87, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022.

                        She was a Christian woman that loved her family and her church. One thing she loved to do was shop. If her children came to visit, she was set in “Go” to shop all day. She also loved kids and enjoyed her job at a daycare center. She played softball in her earlier years and loved to fish with her late husband. She was a dedicated pastor’s wife of 50 years. She was a quiet lady, but had a spunk in her that only her children saw. When she sang in church, her voice was very angelic. She passed knowing all her family was by her side and that gave her peace to go to her heavenly home.

                         She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John D. Glover and son, Larry Glover.

                         She is survived by daughters, Jackie Tyndall of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sharon Rose Akers (Dale) of High Point, and Loretta Allen (Anthony) of Fremont; son, Tony Glover (Chastity) of Archdale; daughter-in-law, Diane Glover of Sanford five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

                         Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Singleton and Pastor Ralph Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.

                        Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m.-1:45 p.m.
