Michael Dwight Baker June 30, 1953 October 15, 2014 Elm City..Michael Dwight Baker, age 61, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Gladys W. Baker; brother, Jackie Baker; sister, Sylvia Webb. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jay Summerlin officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. He is survived by his sisters, Peggy Tripp of Ayden, Betsy Tanner of Louisburg; nephews, Ricky Webb, Marshall Webb; niece, Robin Brown great nephews, Josh Webb, Thomas Webb; great nieces, Leigh Webb, Rachel Brown, Meredith Brown and Courtney Strother.
