December 8, 1926 – February 3, 2022

                         Minnie Pearl Flowers Overstreet, age 95, of Wilson, went home to Jesus on February, 3, 2022. She was the best mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Your life was truly made better by knowing her. She loved Jesus, her family, friends, reading, flowers and animals. She fed countless cats, dogs, birds, squirrels, rabbits, foxes and even the occasional raccoon. She was truly an angel on earth and will be forever missed.

                         Pearl is survived by her daughter, Cathy Williford; sons, Robert and Ray Williford; grandchildren, Daniel and wife, Carrie, Shane, Hope and husband, Jeremy, Chris and wife, Karen, Jere and wife, Lindsay, Josh and wife, Amanda, and Eric; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jackson, Finley, Emma, Ethan, Hannah and Kai, many special nieces and nephews, and three step daughters.

                         She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel and Minnie Hestelle Flowers; daughter, Carol Strehse; nine brothers and sisters, Thelma, Hardy, Daisy, Sewell, Herman, Ollie Mae, Gardnell, Alton and Billy.

                         A graveside service will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery, 761 E. Raleigh Blvd, Rocky Mount with Pastor Telley Tender Lucas officiating.

                         The family will receive friends following the service at the granddaughter, Hope`s home.
